Wolf Spiders
Wolf Spiders are hairy, fairly large spiders. They are usually brown, black or gray in color, with relatively shorter legs than other spiders. They are quick moving and often seen running across the ground and floors. They hunt their prey mostly during the day, and do not spin webs but instead live in burrows in the ground.
Wolf Spiders can enter homes under gaps in doors, but they will typically not bite unless they feel they are in danger. Their bite is not significantly harmful to humans. |
